Will smiling affect the results of fractional co2 laser?

I want to ask does smiling during the healing process after doing fractional co2 laser will make wrinkles around the mouth area worst or no progress of improving at all?

Ten days after CO2/Erbium laser, my upper lip has nerve damage. Is this temporary and when will it resolve?

This is likely just nerve swelling called neuropraxia that can be improved with oral steroids and oral diuretics.  It may take up to 3 months to resolve.  Please speak to your treating physician.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I can't find any progress on acne red marks. Do you recommend CO2 laser or what? I need something efficient with low downtime

What is your opinion on the use of pure coconut oil after CO2 Fractional laser resurfacing?

I don't see any reason not to use Coconut oil on your skin. However, after fractional co2 laser, our office recommends Melarase creams to help avoid pigmentation from PIH. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles

I would consider Melarase creams to help with the pigmentation and Q switch laser, if indicated, for any residual hemosiderin. Fillers are also a good option to correct the indentation. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
