Pigmented depression in the under eye region after CO2 fractional laser! Experiencing loss of volume around the nasal folds too

A heavy metal eyepatch was accidentallyput on theunder eye area after performing laser and sat there fr 20mins.After she removed the eye patch my left under eye area was severely bruised and wrinkled. Now I see a pigmented indentation with a couple of lines under my left eye.'twas never there up until 13days ago.Dr. says laser cant cause indentation. Gave me a super light laser on the indented skin saying it might boost collagen in that area. How did this happen?PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS TEMPORARY!

I would consider Melarase creams to help with the pigmentation and Q switch laser, if indicated, for any residual hemosiderin. Fillers are also a good option to correct the indentation. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
