To be sure what treatment is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment.I hope this helps.
In my opinion, freckles can be treated in adolescents. You options are IPL and lasers. In my experience the freckles will eventually return with extensive sun exposure.Seek an experienced doctor who will show you photos.Good luck?

IPL is not the gold standard for keloid treatment as there is risk of ancillary damage. I would use the PDL laser on the keloid in addition to IIT, topical therapy with Plato's Scar Serum, and topical massage. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian
