Hello there,I would not recommend Lumineers. Since no tooth structure is removed during the Lumineer process, your teeth will actually appear bigger if Lumineers are placed. For your case, I would recommend minimal prep veneers. Always look at before and after photos when selecting your dentist. They will give you an idea about what you can expect. I'll attach a link of a patient who's case was very similar to yours. Good luck and I hope this helps. First, I think you have a great smile. However, if you wish to make your teeth smaller and less prominent, then lumineers may not be the right treatment for you. In my opinion, you can consider 2 options-Traditional Veneers: your teeth will need to be shaved down to the right proportions and veneers can be fabricated to make your teeth look less prominent.-Invisalign: It is hard to evaluate your bite from the photo, but if your teeth are protruding, invisalign can help push them back and intrude them to make them appear smaller and less prominent. I would recommend a getting a cosmetic evaluation to determine the best treatment option for you.
You can used lumineers to improve teeths aspect but they will still look big, long and wide. Anyway i thing you have a beautifull smile and lumineers will make them bright and aligned.
Hi:Normally when teeth are too wide I do not recommend lumineers since very little to no tooth structure is removed when doing lumineer therefore the teeth will appear bigger and wider after placement of a lumineer. In my opinion all of the four teeth appear to be too far out as a result the teeth have to be shaved down more than the thickness of the final veneers to make them appear more narrower, shorter and more inline with your other teeth. This will require regular veneers. The other option is to do orthodontic treatment and strip between your teeth to push them back and at the end do minor contouring to make the two front teeth shorter. In this option you basically keep your own natural teeth.Best of luck!
Thanks for posting the picture. You didn't exactly say where you want the Lumineers placed. If you are thinking about putting them on your side teeth to create a broader smile that matches your front teeth then you might be a candidate. If you are trying to make your front teeth look less prominent Lumineers are not the answer. I would suggest having a consultation with an orthodontist to bring these teeth into a more ideal position. I hope this answers your question.
You would be a great candidate for porcelain veneers. With veneers you can change the color shape and size of the teeth. Lumineers are just a brand or type of veneers. The premise behind Lumineers is that no tooth structure needs to be removed. However, this is rarely if ever the case. Very very...
I would recommend porcelain veneers over Lumineers. Lumineers are a brand of prepless veneers. While some veneer cases can be accomplished with minimal preparation they are rarely no-prep as advertised. Beautiful results are possible with traditional veneers. Prices vary according to region and...
While Lumineers are sometimes a great option for many patients, they are typically used to just conceal minor imperfections or discolorations in teeth. However, when there are greater things that need to be done, like tooth lengthening or space closing, porcelain veneers and crowns are...
