It is normally recommended to sneeze with your mouth open so soon after rhinoplasty. It is not likely that you damaged anything with your nose permanently, however I do recommend that you mention this to your doctor at your next appointment.Hope this helps.Dr. Ali Sajjadian
The only issue is that the sneeze can start bleeding from the nose or increase swelling. There should not be long terms injury. Please get it checked by your surgeon.
We generally recommend sneezing with your mouth open for the first few weeks after rhinoplasty surgery. After two weeks, it is very unlikely that you caused any problems with sneezing. Please remember the importance of frequent and long-term follow up after rhinoplasty. If you have concerns, please remember to discuss them at your next post-operative appointment.
I hope you opened your mouth for that sneeze. It is doubtful that you have damaged your nose, but it would not hurt to have your Plastic Surgeon exam it to confirm. Best wishes!

Healing from rhinoplasty takes weeks to months and in some cases up to a year or more. The swelling, firmness, and fullness at 2 weeks post op is normal. Gradually over the next several months the underlying shape and contours will become more defined as the swelling subsides. Give it time an...
