Any hope to fix nerve damage/and unevenness after tummy tuck?

Complaints of chronic pain, stiffness or uncomfortable permanent changes after a full tummy tuck is not uncommon.

It’s a very invasive operation that separates and rebuilds the entire abdominal wall.

It changes physiological balances to some degree and pulse tissues quite tightly.

Almost everyone has pain and discomfort after the procedure and this lingers on more for some than others.

Some people eventually get used to the changes and except it as the new normal and get on with life.

For those who have ongoing pain that doesn’t seem to get better with time there is very little that can be done.

Those who obsess over it with continued medical work keeps insisting on having a definitive diagnosis typically find less relief overtime then those who just let it go.

There’s most likely no one single diagnosis. There’s most likely not one single nerve that’s in trapped. You had a big operation and now you’re having pain.

Chronic pain requires a comprehensive approach and the goal of chronic pain management is not to make the pain go away but to learn to live with it.

Stretching exercises and attempt at physical therapy may or may not be helpful but it does continue to emphasize that the problem is there and requires fixing.

There is not much someone from a plastic surgery perspective can do for you so this form is probably not your best option for seeking help.
