I know ideally i shouldnt drink wine for 2 weeks to avoid bruising wand bleeding, especially since Im on medication too. But will it kill my fat cells since I only did the surgery 3 days ago??

Answer: Alcohol and nicotine after breast fat transfer Alcohol in very moderate amounts is less likely to affect your post-operative results than nicotine is. I would not recommend drinking any alcohol if you are still on any narcotic pain medications, however I would recommend avoiding ALL forms of nicotine - gum, patches, cigarettes, e-cigs, cigars, etc - as the nicotine acts to close off your small blood vessels, which are essential to helping you heal and bring blood to the new fat cells that are trying to establish themselves in your breasts. I always tell my patients if they have spent their hard earned money on surgery, they should do EVERYTHING in their ability to get the best result, even if it means giving up some recreational activities for a short time. In the long term it is worth it to be well behaved for 4 weeks.
