My surgeon never mentioned anything about it and I don't really see or talk to him after surgery. I woke up wrapped up in a bandage and 3 days after have been wearing sports bras day and night ever since. Is this ok?
Answer: Bra after breast lift I would recommend calling your plastic surgeon for clarification. We place our breast lift patients in a compression bra after surgery, and ask them to wear it for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, they may wear a different sports bra or non-underwire bra for the remaining 4 weeks. T

Answer: Should I Wear A Sports Bra To Bed After A Breast Lift? Whether you should or shouldn't wear a sports bra depends on what kind of lift you had and what your personal plastic surgeon recommends. Only he or she can determine if a sports bra vs. a vest with cups is the appropriate surgical garment. If you were my patient and you had a Benelli mastopexy, I personally think a sports bra is a good idea. On the other hand, if you had a standard lift with an incision in the inframammary fold, I think wearing a bra is a terrible idea because the bra would hit the incision in your inframammary fold and potentially disrupt it and/or cause an infection. At this point, I think it is important for you to call your personal plastic surgeon and get his or her take on whether a sports bra is appropriate.

Answer: Breast Lift Hello, Thank you for your question, I don't recommend underwire bras for 6 weeks after any kind of breast surgery. I let my patients free to wear a sports bra or leave their breasts free. Please contact your PS and ask his/her opinion about it. Kind regards, Guray
