Can my areolas be removed or repositioned? I feel that my areola is too high/ too big. (photos)

The real issue, as you point out, is too long of a distance between the nipple and the bottom of the breast. This is known as bottoming out, and is due to lack of support for the breast tissue. Since the skin isn't able to hold the tissue up, the volume of the breast moves down and the nipples start to point up. An internal bra with Gala mesh is how I correct these. There is also a bit of asymmetry, which could be improved at the same time, and you may get better scarring due to taking the weight off of the skin.

Your nipples are in the correct position, but your breasts have sagged down somewhat and giving the appearance that your nipples are too high. Excess tissue and skin can be removed from the inferior incision to correct this.

From your photos it appears the breasts are bottomed out, meaning there is too much distance from the bottom of the areola to the breast fold. A revision to the lift would be needed to correct this. It would reposition the nipple as well. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon
