Areola Reduction - will this give me my desired look? (photos)

Question

I posted on here a few years ago but now I am 23 and am seriously looking to get an areola reduction. I don't want my areola to be puffy/protruding anymore. I want them to sit higher on my breast to give the illusion of more breast tissue at the base. I am looking for doctors in the DFW area. Will an areola reduction give me my desired look?

Hi fg0111,You should consider a lollipop lift, which will reduce the areola, move it upward into a perkier position and tighten the lower breast where it used to be. You will be very happy with the shape improvement you get from that. Find a board-certified plastic surgeon with pictures you are happy with. There are so many terrific surgeons in the Dallas area, it's hard to go wrong. Bring them pictures of the breasts you would like to have. That will really help your surgeon know what shape to give you. Go for it!

Thank you for your question. The correct option for you in order to lift your breast and reduce the size of your areola, is a breast lift. This will work to raise the breast tissue up on your breast to a more pleasing position as well as reduce the size of your areola. This can be done with either a circumverticle incision or wise pattern. Good luck

From your photos it appears the recommended procedure for you is a breast lift.  This will remove excess skin, raise the position of the nipple, as well as reduce the size of the areola.  You may also be a candidate for auto augmentation where your own tissue is used to give upper pole fullness to the breasts.  See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.
