Can I have areola reduction to improve the donut scars? Is scar revision the same thing? I'd rather not have the lollipop lift as it will be my fifth op. I'm 3 years post op and the scars have spread and gone wonky.Thank you

Answer: Breast scars Unfortunately those are the scars you can expect from a donut lift. A lollipop lift will leave you with a smaller areolae and better scars overall. You should consult with a surgeon that dies the lollipop lift and check out the scars

Answer: Doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome Please forgive me if I'm incorrect, but I believe I've already answered a similar question you posted a few days ago. The answer is the same. Doing the same thing, i.e. doing another circumareolar reduction (or lift, same thing), will lead to the same result: wide scars and persistently wide areola, no matter what technique is used, no matter how the 'blocking stitch' or lasso stitch is placed. Your only hope for fine scars and a smaller areola is a conversion to a full lift, with the vertical scars. If that is your biggest fear, than I've got good news for you. The vertical scar will likely become nearly or completely invisible within a relatively short period of time.
