A brow lift is tailored to each patient and there are different methods that can be used to perform the surgery. In some cases, there may be a certain area that is targeted with the procedure. It is possible to lift the forehead in addition to the temples if that is needed.
Thank you for your question. The main focus of a brow lift is to elevate a forehead that has fallen over time, causing deep creases in the brow and hooding over the eyes. For temples that have lost volume due to aging or collagen depletion, an injectable treatment can be administered to augment their appearance. Dermal fillers or a collagen stimulator such as Sculptra can add volume to the temple area. An autologous fat transfer can also be performed to volumize the temples and produce results that are more long-lasting. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon or injector who can answer any questions you may have and help you decide on the best treatment option.
Thank you for your question! There are different types of brow lifts, which include frontal, temporal, and direct excision brow lift. You should meet with a board certified plastic surgeon and discuss your desired look. I wish you luck!
To give the eyebrows a nice lift, we use injectable fillers to improve the eyebrow, upper eye, forehead and temple. A filler is placed on the bone and in the fat pads of these areas to contour and lift without it looking overdone. We use cannulas to limit pain and swelling. I suggest getting a formal consultation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hello @DimeboxTX, thank you for your question. The eyebrow lift is to lift the eyebrow from the area where the eyebrow is drooping. The temples are not part of this process. The best course of action is to consult one or several board certified plastic surgeons for more information and options tailored specifically to your needs. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez, MD FACS.
Thank you for your question. There are different brow lift approaches that depend on each patient’s specific needs. I typically prefer an endoscopic brow lift because it requires smaller incisions and less scarring. The results from these surgical procedures can last for 5-10 years, and s...
Mild asymmetry between the brows is considered normal. There are methods to attempt to improve symmetry which involve direct incisions over the brow. It is recommended you have a formal consultation to discuss risks and benefits of different interventions.
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest...
