What is included in a brow lift?

A brow lift is tailored to each patient and there are different methods that can be used to perform the surgery. In some cases, there may be a certain area that is targeted with the procedure. It is possible to lift the forehead in addition to the temples if that is needed.

Thank you for your question. The main focus of a brow lift is to elevate a forehead that has fallen over time, causing deep creases in the brow and hooding over the eyes. For temples that have lost volume due to aging or collagen depletion, an injectable treatment can be administered to augment their appearance.
Dermal fillers or a collagen stimulator such as Sculptra can add volume to the temple area. An autologous fat transfer can also be performed to volumize the temples and produce results that are more long-lasting. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon or injector who can answer any questions you may have and help you decide on the best treatment option.

To give the eyebrows a nice lift, we use injectable fillers to improve the eyebrow, upper eye, forehead and temple. A filler is placed on the bone and in the fat pads of these areas to contour and lift without it looking overdone. We use cannulas to limit pain and swelling.
