Generally speaking, transplanted hairs are not subject to the DHT that causes other hairs to thin. This is true if they are harvested from the donor zone of the scalp and placed, say, in the eyebrows. However, if a skin condition develops in the eyebrow area, in your example, then the hairs may be affected as well.
Thanks for the question. If I understand your question right, you're asking if you transplant into your eyebrows or beard will those transplanted hairs fall out as time passes and you potentially bald. The answer is no. If done properly the new hairs that get placed into your beard or eyebrow should be coming from the occipital part of the head or nape of the neck area. These hairs retain their genetic makeup and theoretically should never fall out. That is one of the beauties of hair transplant in general. When we transplant to the top of the scalp, for example, we know that while you may lose some of the native hairs in the area you shouldn't lose any transplanted hairs. Hope that helps!
Hi,In a standard hair transplant procedure, the donor area is in the scalp's occipital region. The hairs from this area are unique in that they lack the androgen receptor that mediates male pattern hair loss. This characteristic makes these transplanted hairs resistant to AGA once placed into the recipient area.
Hello and thank you for your question. The short answer is no those hairs will not be prone to male pattern baldness. I hope this help ease your question.Dr. T

You need to see either your hair transplant surgeon or a dermatologist, and have a scalp biopsy done to come to a diagnosis. Based on the picture alone, it is difficult to say anything. But the sooner you diagnose this, the sooner you can treat and the more hair you will save.
Shedding immediately after and a few months after a hair transplant procedure can happen, and it doesn't necessarily mean that anything is wrong. Sometimes the hairs that were transplant start a "synchronized" hair cycle, which causes them to shed at the same time. Eventually, this will resolve....
