Thanks for your inquiry and pictures.  Without a formal exam it is hard to advise, but if your trying to look like the picture I think you will need more volume.  Please show the picture to your surgeon. Good Luck.

This really depends upon your breast measurements. I take five breast measurements and am able to determine the best size implant to fill your breast pocket. Remember, your breasts will NEVER look like someone else's...you simply want to optimize your own breast appearance so you need your breast pocket filled optimally. You don't want to be "overstuffed" but you also don't want the "understuffed" look. Make sure your operating surgeon properly examined and evaluated you so you are sure you are receiving the best size implants for you! Good luck!

Of course I would need to examine you listen to her wishes in detail, but I can give you some suggestions to pursue with her plastic surgeon. I personally would recommend textured implants as they tend to move a bit less during isometric exercise. Secondly I placed these beneath the muscle S. a few more natural and there is less likelihood for capsular contracture in my experience. Thank you for your question. It is much better to accurately discuss implant volume and projection with an in office exam and detailed measurements. In order to make an accurate size recommendation, I would need to assess your chest wall and breast mound measurements/characteristics. I use these measurements to help me during the sizing process to guide you to a safe result for your chest wall and just as important, one that meets your end desires.The next step is to try on this range of implants in the office with your doctor. The key to this success is showing your surgeon the body proportion you desire with a bra sizer and allowing your surgeon to guide you to the right implant. It will be much easier to communicate in implant cc's than cup size when determining the appropriate implant for you during the sizing process. In addition, review of photos and use of rice bags can be very helpful to the patient and surgeon in achieving a safe and happy result. If you have a size in mind, then you might want to try them on with a bra and see how they look.  It is like a baggy test.  

I agree with you, 400 to 450 cc moderate profile + smooth unders is my recommendation.................

If you are trying to achieve the look of the picture that you have included you really need to reassess the style and size of implant you are anticipating using. If you already have your surgery scheduled I would assume that you have had a consultation. If you have had a consultation I assume that you have told your surgeon what you are trying to achieve and the surgeon has shown you what it would take to meet your expectations. This should include the size and style of implant. A great way to determine size and look is with the implant sizer system from Mentor and the Vectra 3D imaging system. I have found these very useful in discussing size and style of implant with patients. 

In my practice fit women tend to choose and be happy with more conservative sized implants which tend to fit their active lifestyle better than larger implants.You should have consultations with several bard certified plastic surgeons in your area.  An "in person" examination will allow the plastic surgeon to give his or her recommendation on what will be the correct implant for you.I do agree with submuscular silicone.On another note confirm with your surgeon that you would like the abdominoplasty scar as low as possible so it will tend not to show in a bathing suit bottom.Best of luck.

Susan,Thank you for your question. It is very difficult to pick implants based on photos. A rough ballpark is 150-200cc per cup size. You should have a very nice result with that size implant based on your pictures. I would recommend you discuss your concerns with your surgeon.
