What can be done to get this fixed? I am 9 month post op from liposuction and I notice some uneven bulges. I'd a revision my only option?
Answer: Contour deformity The number one complication for any type of liposuction is contour deformity. That being said, you are experiencing some contour deformity with not enough fat being removed around the belly button and the upper abdomen. This this can be rectified with additional liposuction and the use of a product such as Ayon, which would combine ultrasound assisted liposuction, and Renuvion to decrease the contour deformity appearance.

Answer: Liposuction revision I often tell my patients that liposuction is not an exact science, and patients may benefit from a revision. For very small areas of residual fat, I will use off-label Kybella at time. More commonly, spot liposuction under local anesthesia to address the bulge.

Answer: Repeat liposuction Unevenness is very common with liposuction. You will need to have repeat liposuction to take care of the excess fat. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
