Why am I still puffy 7 weeks after gynecomastia?

Question

Excision and lipo. No loose skin. Can't feel breast tissue. No complications. Perfect for the first 2 weeks then got worse until now. Why is it still puffy pls give information I haven't already read on this site. Why is no one telling me so I can feel at ease. 10 000 was spent on the best surgeon

Hi. Your breasts will change for at least 3 months after the operation
(sometimes up to 12 months, although this is unusual). Often things swell a little more once you return to exercise and full activity. Try to be patient at this stage and
wait until all the postoperative changes have finished before assessing things. Regards Dr Charles Cope

Don't judge your results after 7 weeks. It takes three months for 90% of the swelling to go down. Even though your incisions are probably really small, a lot of work was done inside. Try and be patient. As long as it is hard and tender, you are still healing.

It is common to be puffy after surgery which means swelling.  This swelling can last several months and you have to be patient to allow it to resolve.

You can have swelling for 3 to 6 months after liposuction of any kind. Be patient and check with your surgeon. It just takes soft tissues a while to fully heal after this type of surgery.
