Is Bodytite for Gynecomastia really the best and safest treatment?

Liposuction sometimes with excision will produce nice results.Try to research this to find the surgeon who consistently produces the
results you would expect. Look at reviews on this site and see who gets the surgery right every time. Find
a board certified plastic surgeon who performs hundreds of liposuction procedures each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's
website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can

Dear Plzhlp123,It is hard to assess your situation without pictures but most gynecomatia requires some combination of liposuction and direct excision of breast tissue.  If you want a representative sample of gyecomastia cases, review galleries for gynecomastia.

I totally agree with Dr. Rosenblat. True gynecomastia requires excision.  Usually liposuction (I prefer Vaser for this) and excision. 

If you have breast tissue , liposuction and excision of the breast tissue is the gold standard. With true gynecomastia there are no short cuts.

Gynecomastia, or excessive breast tissue  in males, is usually treated with a combination of liposuction (for the peripheral fatty tissue) and direct excision of the denser central breast tissue.  For this purpose, many surgeons use one of several energy assisted liposuction methods - Bodytite utilizes radio frequency energy, Vaser lipo utilizes ultrasound energy and Smart lipo utilizes laser light.  All energy assisted liposuction procedures do generate heat and can potentially cause a burn, although, the risk of a burn is quite low.  Regardless of the type of liposuction your surgeon employs, direct excision of the central dense breast tissue may be necessary.  Be certain that your surgeon is comfortable and proficient with direct excision of the breast tissue.  Best wishes.
