I gave birth almost 10 months ago. Before i gave birth i had a tight vagina that was hard to even put a finger in! The sex was also amazing. Ever since i give birth my vagina is just open. I even have to put extra large tampons in for it to stay put and sex is terrible. i can’t even feel it going in. Anytime i bend over and move my vagina queens and i look in the mirror and it’s just wide open! my daughter was a very big baby and I don’t know if i should get vaginoplasty to help with the problem
Answer: Vaginoplasty after vaginal birth I certainly understand your concern about the tightness and appearance of you vaginal opening and the vaginal canal. You will certainly benefit a great deal from having a vaginoplasty. It will tighten up the deep muscles and the muscles on the perineum. Consult an experienced cosmetic gynecologist or urogynecologist and discuss you options.

Answer: Would I benefit from a Vaginoplasty? Hello abaisden03, You describe symptoms that many women experience following a difficult vaginal delivery. Unfortunately, your vagina will never be the same, but you can take steps to improve your current situation. Some day you may opt to have surgery, but it is best to postpone this till you are finished childbearing. Until then you may benefit from pelvic floor physical therapy to rehab your muscles following the childbirth trauma. The open appearance to your vagina will only improve with a vaginaoplasty/perineoplasty. At the time of surgery you should address any prolapse to achieve long lasting results. You should consult with a Urogynecologist experienced in reconstructive and cosmetic vaginal surgery. Go to the link below to see hundreds of before and after photos where you will find many examples that are similar to you. From that link you can schedule a virtual consultation via phone or zoom, at which time we can discuss in depth your anatomy, expectations and concerns. Answer: Consider Vaginoplasty Thank you for your question and the photos you provided. Based on your history, I would agree that a vaginoplasty to reduce the diameter of your vaginal canal would help you. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon, Good luck!

Answer: Would I benefit from a labiaplasty Thank you for your question Vaginoplasty means plastic surgery of the vagina. Except for the creation of a new vagina, it is not a procedure but is the effect of the reconstructive procedures to improve vaginal function. The vagina is connected on six sides just like a rectangular box. Your photos only shows the entrance which does show some gaping but the insides need to be evaluated to see what is needed. You should be evaluated by a surgeon well trained in vaginal reconstruction. Remember that once you have this surgery you will not be able to deliver vaginally again so first complete your family or know that you will need a Caesarean section for future deliveries. Do your homework Read information on vaginoplasty on realself
