Ersin Gonullu, MD

My experience with this doctor was in many ways positive, it felt safe, I truly felt that I was in good hands. I’m currently one and a half years post op 360 lipo and BBL and there are a few issues. First off I’ll start with my results, my stomach and my love handles are noticeably lopsided, which is a bit lame. My stomach also has a large fibrosis even though I wore compression garments and got around 20 lymphatic massages. I love my new ass but it is quite a bit larger than I would have liked so it was a shock as first but now I’m pretty happy with it. He over liposuctioned my lower back so it is kind of hollow and weird looking that I’m not super happy about. The fibrous maybe was uncontrollable but the other things could have been done better. This may not sound like the best outcome, I am for the most part happy with my results still.

Secondly the hospital nurses were good but there was one who was there at night and extremely rough with my IV and not very nice to me. My patient coordinator was very frustrating to deal with too. The nurses that worked with clinic wise were very kind and supportive though and I appreciated that so much.

Fantastic! I don’t know what else to say. I have been wanting to do a bbl for 8 yrs now. Did loads of research on the procedure and on several clinicians. Did a year of research on dr Ersin till I was satisfied to go with him. I am a clinician myself and I can confidently tell you that I felt very safe with the team throughout this process. I was well monitored and looked after in the hospital. Dr Ersin and his team are super organised and they keep to time. My surgery was slightly delayed but they always kept me up to date. Dr Ersin patiently explained the procedure to me, helped manage my expectations. I did not expect my results to be this good given what my body previously looked like. I finally have some confidence and this has been life changing for me.

I have to specially give the nurses their flowers. I don’t remember all their names but I remember Burcu. They were all so kind, confident, reassuring and very experienced too. They would even go as far as bringing me bottles of water every evening, fruits and juices. Forever grateful.

My patient coordinator was Rohat. This gentleman is probably the main reason why I even dared to do the procedure. He was very friendly, always answered every little silly question, and never pushed me to do the surgery. I will also thank Cihan and Can (yes you can). They accompanied my during my period tests and were pleasant to be around.
Overall I am more than pleased with my result and glad I trusted my instincts. I hope I get to keep all the fat at the 3month mark. Haha.

The recovery process has been sort of rough which I expected but I feel significantly better now. Now I know why they say “trust the process”. Your body will change throughout the healing process but don’t be discouraged. I will attach some pics below.

I had a skinny BBL with doctor Ersin! He is a very good doctor! He was very nice to me from the beginning till the end, he gave me good advice and did a very good job on my body even tho I didn’t have a lot of fat! As I told him 1 day post op, he changed my life ! Will come back for another surgery with no hesitation!

Experience was okay.
Just wished I had more fat removed from my back. But apparently it’s loose skin which I’m sure it’s not as I have high elasticity in my skin. Feel like I want to go for a session of lipo on my back only.

I am 9 days post op from mummy makeover including tummy tuck, diastasis recti repair involving abdominal muscles being stitched back together having separated after having 2 children, liposuction on upper and lower back, tummy , and under armpits, also breast uplift with fat injection .

My story ;
Having been diagnosed with POI (menopause before aged 35) I was unable to make any progress with my body tone through exercise alone , my body lost all elasticity and muscle tone due to the sudden depletion of hormones and collagen. I have spent 3-4 years researching the procedures and the surgeons and have travelled far and wide in doing so, I travelled to London to meet Dr Ersin after considering him to complete my surgery for some time, I needed to meet face to face before committing to such a huge surgery at such a distance (I'm in the UK he in Istanbul) after our meeting I was certain he was the only surgeon for me, his calm, confident and reassuring nature instantly put me at ease. Due to my unusual health and HRT being such a high dose due to my age there were some unusual factors however Dr Ersin held zoom calls with me to discuss and confirm treatment and pre and post care I would need to complete.

I travelled with my husband and I personally wouldn't support the notion of having the same surgery and travelling alone however I have never had any surgery at all before so perhaps I'm less knowledgeable about what to expect.

The staff and team working with Dr Ersin are faultless, professional, kind, reassuring and nothing is any trouble and all is done with warmth and a genuine care (much unlike the general demeanor of UK people I am sad to say). Eda was my care co ordinator and nurse and we have been in contact everyday since returning home, she is 10/10 and her care is just as invested now that I'm home.

I had arranged assistance at both Istanbul and Gatwick for the travel home and I would say this is an absolute non negotiable. There is no way at all making this travel without wheelchair is possible so ensure you organise this before travel.

My few top tips would be;
•Only 1/2 changes of clothes are needed - i took multiple pairs of pyjamas and just didn't wear anything as I had so many compression garments to wear
•invest in a V shape pillow and take with you, keeping an upright position is really vital and the pillow helped so much with this (I have 2 now I'm home)
• organise plenty of help for once you're home and rest.

This is a kinda hanging my head in shame review. Ha-ha! But I’m a firm believer in doing the right thing.

I recently posted a bad review. I deleted it. If any of you are wondering why, it’s because I was wrong about my results. Instead of being patient and waiting, I jumped to conclusions and judged too soon. I will hold my hands up to this, and admit that I was wrong, and sincerely apologise to my wonderful surgeon Dr Ersin Gonullu once again, as I have already spoken with him.

So let’s try this again shall we… ha-ha!

In December of 2023 had combination surgery with Dr Ersin Gonullu.

Everything went well. He’s a kind, gentle, skilled and safe surgeon in my opinion from this experience. I am very happy with my results.

Now - August 2024. I decided to use them again for breast revision and dog ear correction. As I mentioned, I did not like my results immediately after, I thought the stitches were horrendous and I was convinced Dr Gonullu did not do them himself. I was not pleased with my breasts either. Fast forward to over one month later and my opinion has totally changed. Yes I’m a little crazy for jumping to conclusions, condemn me then… I don’t care… urgh we’re only human at the end of the day. We make mistakes. I honestly should have known better, to be patient as I’m no newbie to all of this.

Hear me out, anyone who knows me knows that I am a very outspoken, honest person. I most certainly do not tolerate any form of bad service, especially when it comes to my medical care or cosmetic results. So therefore, I promise you all that I would not recommend a surgeon unless I was truly happy with my results. I have nothing to gain or lose. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Ersin Gonullu and he deserves his flowers. I am returning to him for my round 2 BBL. He’s my forever surgeon. I don’t know how he puts up with me to be fair. ;-)

I just know that man must be tired of me and my antics. Lol

After how I blasted him and his clinic everywhere, this man still took the time to call me and he was polite and kind. If you don’t already know, Dr Gonullu is one of the nicest, sweetest, calmest surgeons you’ll ever know and come to meet.

I've had lot of surgeries, to this day Clinic Wises pre op and post op care are the best I have ever received. Their nurses come to check up on you even when you don't ask them to and they're so lovely! You feel safe and well taken care of after your surgery. Other surgeons I've been to leave you to fend for yourself once your procedure is over. The hospital they use - Acibadem - is the best hospital I've been to through my surgery journey. Their staff do an outstanding job. Clinic Wises coordinators are amazing too.

I would like to just touch on the issue I had with Clinic Wises sales manager, as I feel as though I do owe you all some sort of explanation on it as I had mentioned it before. I still strongly stand by everything I previously said about her but thankfully I was promised that I will never have to deal with her again. That is all I’ll say about that. Getting into all of it again seems pointless now. It was her that virtually pushed on my last nerve to write that bad review as I was already in an anxious state and her words and actions did not help. Not even worth mentioning her name. She’s that unimportant to me.

Two words, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

Dr. Ersin Gonullu And his team, Nurse Fatma, Irem, Mario, Omar, Atkan, and all of the other members have been highly professional and helpful. The respect empathy high quality care given inside and outside the hospital made the procedure process FLAWLESS!!! From the beginning….consultation pre-op, post-op, and coordination of hotel and transportation from start to finish ….Ladies and men it’s so much worth choosing Dr. Ersin and his team. Feeling safe comfortable and respected is a priority. You will get that and WAY more! Hospital used is A++. Hotel Antwell is A++. Best decision ever!

I had heavy, oversized sagging breasts. I have wanted a lift/reduction for a long time but was very apprehensive about the process. I had 14 consults, mostly in the US and 3 in Istanbul, and was most impressed with Dr Ersin's kindness, professionalism, and expertise. He took the time to really explain the lifting procedure. I originally thought I wanted implants as well, but he explained why he didn't think it was necessary and I appreciate him looking out for my best interest. I'm 5 weeks post op and absolutely thrilled with my results! I know they will get even better with time, but they look better than I imagined was possible. Dr Ersin and his staff were wonderful, extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. Highly recommend!!

The best surgeon and best team. Everyone went above and beyond and was extremely friendly. Even after complications that started in the U.K. I still felt in safe hands and I would not trust any other surgeon. Thank you for everything and a special thanks to Betül, Dr Ersin G & his nurses who all went above and beyond your are all incredible. I hope Betül gets a promotion or becomes a nurse or doctor she is made for greatness and is one in a million. Nothing was too much to ask and she was always there whenever I needed help. The best surgeon in the world, very professional and very approachable. I got breast reduction and BBL.I felt accompanied at all times even after returning home. The surgery was performed in a large hospital, this also made me feel very safe.

I am happy with my new surgery. This is my third surgery with Dr Ersin. I had surgeries in the year 2019,2020 and now in 2024, My new breasts are like I am 18 years old. I also see my nipples bigger. They are divine, I am really delighted. The Wise clinic, which was in charge of all the management, is wonderful, nurses come to the hotel to check on you several times a day and as many times as you request. The surgery was performed at the Acivadem Hospital. All the healthcare staff there are fantastic. Many thanks to all the team. There were at least 10 people in the operating room, which made me feel very calm. After my surgeries I have not had problems with anesthesia because the anesthetist is a very old person with a lot of experience. I have not had problems with infections also because Dr. Ersin is a doctor with a lot of experience and I always receive antibiotics after the surgery to prevent any type of infection. And there is no pain at all, because Dr. Ersin gives very good pain relievers. Without hesitation, if I have to have another surgery. I'll come back here.

El mejor cirujano del mundo, muy profesional y muy cercano. Me hice una reducción de pecho y un BBL. Me sentí acompañada en todo momento incluso al volver a casa. La cirugía se realizó en un gran hospital, esto también me hizo sentir muy segura. Actualizado el 22 de abril de 2024: Estoy feliz con mi nueva cirugía. Esta es mi tercera cirugía con el Dr. Ersin. Me operé en el año 2019, 2020 y ahora en 2024. Mis nuevos pechos son como si tuviera 18 años. También veo mis pezones más grandes. Son divinos, estoy realmente encantada. La clínica Wise, que se encargó de toda la gestión, es maravillosa, las enfermeras vienen al hotel a controlarte varias veces al día y tantas veces como solicites. La cirugía se realizó en el Hospital Acivadem. Todo el personal sanitario allí es fantástico. Muchas gracias a todo el equipo. Había al menos 10 personas en el quirófano, lo que me hizo sentir muy tranquila. Después de mis cirugías no he tenido problemas con la anestesia porque el anestesista es una persona muy mayor con mucha experiencia. No he tenido problemas con infecciones también porque el Dr. Ersin es un médico con mucha experiencia y siempre recibo antibióticos después de la cirugía para prevenir cualquier tipo de infección. Y no hay dolor en absoluto, porque el Dr. Ersin da analgésicos muy buenos. Sin dudarlo, si tengo que hacerme otra cirugía, volveré aquí.
