I’ve recently read that numbing before Microneedling is counterintuitive because the numbing cream restricts the blood flow that is necessary to achieve optimal results. My NP encourages numbing, and thinks the effects of restricted blood flow on actual results is negligible. I’ve gone to her for years and trust her;but at the same time know that no practitioner is infallible. Should I try to not numb (or numb for a shorter time) before my next appointment?
