I had micro needling done (no RF) several weeks ago. It was done at 0.75 needle depth on my face and neck. I have noticed that the creepiness on my neck appears to be worse since I had the procedure done. Do you anticipate this will go away? I was told micro needling would decrease creepiness, but based on my response, I am not sure if I should stop having micro needling done? I have noticed that the skin on my neck feels scaly and gets irritated and red- it never did that before. Thanks so much

Microneedling is a great treatment option to help reduce the appearance of acne scarring by prompting your skin to create new collagen and elastin. Multiple sessions will be needed, performed every 3-6 weeks apart.
Our office has many different treatments for scars depending on the depth of atrophy or hypertrophy. Scars require a combination approach using our HI DEF protocol which uses a combination of lasers, topical scar modulation, and RF treatments to pixelate scars, improve contour, reduce...
It is far better to space radiofrequency microneedling treatments out to at least a month apart. That way there is less chance of excess skin reaction plus it allows enough time to properly assess the effects of each treament.
