The eyes age by have fat that protrudes and volume loss in the surrounding areas that emphasis this fat. Surgery is generally the best way to treat these signs of aging. Common procedures I perform to treat the eyes include lower eyelid blepharoplasty with fat transfer. The fat is taken from an undesirable area such as the abdomen and processed under sterile technique and then used to restore the volume to the face. I would recommend a consultation with a surgeon who frequently performs these procedures.
Thank you for your inquiry! By your photos, you're a great candidate for either a lower bleph with fat transfer to your tear trough which is a more permanent solution or filler to your tear trough to help fill the hollowness which would be a temporary solution. It depends if you would want a surgical or non-surgical solution as well. We would love to meet with you in person to discuss your options in depth. Schedule a consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon like myself to help you reach your goals and create a plan.
You are a candidate for lower lid blepharoplasty with fat transposition and/or fat grafting. This surgery would utilize an incision from behind the eyelid and move the fat from your eyelid to your tear trough and cheek to fill in the hollows. Additional fat can be grafted as needed to give a smooth appearance from your lid to cheek. Best to see an eyelid expert.
You will need a lower blepharoplasty to transfer fat into the tear troughs.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
The proper injection technique employing a robust HA volumizing filler for the cheeks can help to contour a more ideal, desirable, oval, heart-shaped face as well as smoothing the transition between the upper cheeks and the lower lids (thereby improving the under-eye hollows and tear troughs. You would be wise to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist filler expert. In experienced hands, treatment typically takes about fifteen minutes, yields immediate results, and engenders little to no significant downtime. Hope this helps and best of luck.
Whilst filler can be used to disguise the hollowing, you may be best treated with lower eyelid surgery, incorporating lifting of the mid-face area. Please seek a consultation from a surgeon experienced in this technique.
This area is anatomically quite complex.Treatment options are not always easy or straightforward, but there are a lot of different treatments. People may recommend. These could include volume restoration of the upper midface just below the fullness in the lower eyelids.Midface volume restoration can be done using fillers, fat grafting, a midface lift or the use of implants. The fullness in the lower eyelid can be reduced by removing fat through a lower eyelid elephantplastyAs I mentioned, this area is pretty complex and because of that different providers will have different treatment options.Expect different surgeons to have different recommendations. You may want to have a few consultations with different plastic surgeons.I suggest bringing a set of quality facial to use as a reference during the consultation.During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients who had similar facial characteristics for Whatever Procedure is recommended.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
Hi, thanks for your question. I agree that the current appearance is not very aesthetic - presumably these are all post-surgical photos; it is difficult to fully understand the situation without seeing pre- surgical photos and also without knowing when you had surgery, what technique was used...
I recommend revision just without any fillers etc. revision eyelid surgery will equalize your eyelids I'm sure you will have nice result
Scar revision with possible fat grafting would be an option to improve this area. This is a difficult area to reconstruct as errors can lead to medial canthal webbing. Best to see an eyelid expert.
