Are tiny hairs sprouting on temples around the 2 year mark of using Finasteride anything to be excited about? Would PRP help?

I'm a 26 year old male and classify myself as a Norwood 2.5. I have been on Finasteride for about 2 years now and minoxidil for about 3 years. I've not had further hair loss and the existing hair has thickened. Recently, I can see tiny hairs sprouting on my temples. They're really hard to see, unless you're almost touching the mirror when looking at them. Are these tiny hairs anything to be excited about? Would PRP be of any help with making these hairs grow faster/fuller, or hair in general?

Prp is effective, but I have a very specific protocol, every 3-4 weeks for 6 months with prp therapy.  I also add in progesterone to speed the healing process.  After that the injections are tailored down.  You should also be on viviscal and other growth promoting ingredients. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer

At 26, you will see lots of changes in the hairline over time. Unless a good photo is taken and compared it’s hard to say. You are likely dealing with both androgenetic alopecia and normal hairline maturation. Little sprouting hairs 2 years post finasteride are unlikely hairs that will grow longer to a significant degree. But they may stay which of course is a good sign too. For situations like this, a photo is really key.

A good response from finasteride would be the growth of normal thick hairs, not fine vellus or miniaturized hairs. PRP does not do much for this
