Filler migration, swelling, and granulomas can cause significant discomfort and cosmetic ramifications. Our office specializes in the use of enzymes and filler reversal techniques without hyaluronidase to help improve the results of botched cosmetic fillers, whether caused by Juvederm, Restylane, or foreign fillers. Our plastic surgery institute provides expertise in filler removal. We begin by examining the facial fillers and assessing the likelihood of fluctuance or liquid volumization. If appropriate, we use Hylenex, or other filler reversal agents to reduce swelling and filler migration. Hylenex can be targeted into the areas of concern using multiple layered injection techniques. If the filler does not completely resolve, then additional concentrations may be employed. The technique has the potential to reduce the filler and may slightly impact normal hyaluronic acid. Treatments are repeated and results can improve immediately and with time. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon
Hello humorous:Actually the best and only way to treat thus is to dissolve the excess filler, and then, if necessary, reinfect a different filler in a smaller amount. This migration above the upper lip can occur if lips are overfilled or injected in the wrong plane. Certain fillers may be more likely to migrate.Be sure to consult an expert, an advanced injector, in lip fillers, a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon with many years of experience with different lip fillers and an understanding of lip anatomy. All the best to you!Sheryl Clark MD FAAD
By using thread like mint threads we can lift up your cheeks and jowls so the area can smooth out. May still need to dissolve a little of the filler for best results.

For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest...
Hi, thanks for your question. It depends what kind of filler you are getting. Only hyaluronic acid (HA) based fillers, which last approximately 6-12 months, can be dissolved. Longer lasting fillers like Radiesse cannot be dissolved, so make sure the filler you are having injected is HA based....
