Dr. Alan Brill is a gift from God! Suffering with nasal congestion my entire life, I have gone to many doctors often for medicine to clear my sinuses – only to have them block up again after the antibiotics wore off. Upper Respiratory Infections were commonplace – often leading to bronchitis. If I slept on my side, worked in the yard, dusted the house, etc., my sinuses would block up. Claritin, Clarinex, Zyrtec, etc. would help, but sinus infections still occurred. After going to GP doctors for infections and 2 ENT doctors, I saw Dr. Brill who immediately diagnosed my problem as a deviated septum. He operated quickly and easily at my convenience. The first week was not easy, but it was worth all the discomfort - no pain, really. I can now sleep and breath at the same time, and I can take deep breathes without whistling sounds. Dr. Brill and his surgery staff are amazing! I have been so impressed. If you have ENT problems, he is the healer to see. Period.
I was at my doctor for a checkup for a recent blepharoplasty and the Radiesse representative was there offering some free goods to a couple of my doctor's patients. I realize this is probably going to be a viscous cycle and I'm going to want it again and have to pay for it because I loved the results. ha,ha I'm 48 and have nice high cheekbones but the center of my cheeks had flattened some with age. Now they look like apple cheeks again. :-) I didn't have much by way of nasolabial lines, but they put a small amount there to completely get rid of the lines which had started forming. The procedure did not hurt me any although they said it would be more uncomfortable than Juvederm to my lips. I did not think so. It hurt even less than Botox to me, which I only find to be a mild pricking sensation. They had me hold ice to my cheeks before they injected, which I think probably helped. My pinks were slightly pink for about a day and a half and felt swollen for one day. All is better now and it looks great!! I have no idea whether it will last a year to a year and a half as they said -- but I sure hope so.
Be sure that you have a good and experienced injector to avoid negative outcomes of filler. A Board Certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon would have intricate knowledge of the anatomy of the facial structures and placement of injections to create the intended, natural looking results desired while mitigating the chances of a negative outcome.
Two options to explore would be midface facelift vs cheek implants. Either would likely give some elevation to the face and reduce the nasolabial folds.
Shaving of a mole is not a difficult procedure, but where the skill required is in the closure after the mole is removed. Being in a prominent area, such as the face, you will certainly want to have a highly skilled professional perform the procedure. I would recommend finding a Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon in your area. A Facial Plastic Surgeon will have the training and experience to achieve the desired aesthetic outcome with minimal chance of scarring or other visible indication that a procedure was performed. The reputation of the physician you choose to perform any procedure on you is important, but online reviews are not the only basis for determining which physician is the most skilled. A highly skilled physician may have a patient base that is not highly involved in social media, or even internet use, or may simply perform a high number procedures that would not typically warrant an online review. Do, however, be aware of any negative reviews and consider their concerns with how they align with your own.
Assuming that the Botox is injected in the forehead and not in the areas associated with TMJ treatment, it would be safe to get the dental cleaning any time after Botox, even if an anesthetic is used.
