I had Artecoll injected in my lips 21 years ago and about a year ago, out of the blue I had two symmetric lumps form in my upper lip that began causing my upper lip to swell. I have had steroid injections and the only medication that keeps the swelling down is Medro-Prednisolone. I have had 5 surgeries removing little nodules and it seems like every time one is removed another one will appear. Is there something the plastic surgeon is doing wrong?
