If I were to see a patient in consultation for an elective cosmetic procedure (whether it was a BBL or something else) who had a history of a cardiac ablation, I would want to a letter of medical clearance from his or her cardiologist. Basically, I would want to make sure that the patient's cardiac issue or issues were resolved after the ablation. Of course, I would also want to make sure that the individual was a good candidate to have a BBL. This would be determined during the in person consultation.
yes assuming you’ve been stable and your cardiologist clears you medically. You need to meet and discuss your situation with an American board of plastic surgery certified surgeon.Best
Dear Perla12345,as long as you get a clearance from your cardiologist, you might be a candidate for a surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Cardiac clearance would have to be provided to proceed. Extensive knowledge of your past medical history and risk factors will have to be determined and balanced against the risk for bleeding if you are using blood thinners.Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Please talk to your cardiologist to see if you are clear for plastic surgery and then I suggest you to book a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss the best options for your goals.Hope this is helpful. Good luck :)
As long as you get a cardiac clearance from your cardiologist, you would be a candidate for BBL. If you are a good candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), the optimal outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique. These three processes have demonstrated over 95% fat graft take. This means that your results will be stable as long as you maintain your weight. As an official VASER trainer, I am routinely referred unhappy BBL patients. One of the most common reasons for disgruntled BBL patients is that patients are not able to accurately communicate their desired buttocks goals to their surgeons. A buttocks assessment tool can be an invaluable tool to communicate to your surgeon the exact buttocks size and shape you are desiring. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a BBL specialist can help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully,Arian Mowlavi MD,FACSRealself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee
hopefully your heart is much healthier after the ablation and you should be fine to have a BBL it. Most likely your plastic surgeon will ask for a medical clearance from the cardiologist. Consult in person with a few board-certified plastic surgeons in your area to make sure you're a good candidate for this procedure. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

Dear ca10127, itching alone can occur after fat transfer and in most cases it is not sign of any problem. However, if it is combined with redness, pain, rash, fever, it can be a sign of infection or other problems. If you are concerned, it is best that you visit your plastic...
Dear therealayoajay, patients with poorly controlled diabetes have a lot higher chance of infection and other complications. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more...
Although the procedure can be performed under local anesthesia, this procedure can be extraordinarily painful for the patient. You want the most dramatic transformation possible, and you do not want to be in pain. General anesthetia requires a trained anesthesiologist (I use board certified a...
Recovery from BBL and 360 lipo is patient dependent. Much of this depends upon the amount of liposuction performed and the amount of fat transferred. I have observed that between 4 and 6 weeks the buttocks tend to stabilize in volume. Usually by 3 months, the swelling is minimal and total...
