Tonight,I washed my head gently rubbed it with my fingers to remove a scabs , What really scared me is that I could see a lot scabs in my hand that looked like grafts. They were the same size and they had hair in it. Is it possible that I pulled out ?what I already know is that hairs grown from the transplanted grafts fall (3rd- 4th week) and regrow after 2 months .But grafts themselves fall ?? is that normal ? what's left?
Answer: Removing scabs too early Thank you for your question. I generally do not advise removing scabs at this stage as the grafts are fragile and can be removed. It might just be the shocked hairs that have come away but it is better to not remove scabs before atleast 4-6 weeks as this can cause some of the weaker fragile hair to come away. You do need to allow the operated and transplanted area time to settle down. I hope this helps BWRohit Seth Plastic, reconstructive, aesthetic and hair transplant surgery

Answer: Folllow up with your surgeon. It is highly unlikely that you pulled out grafts. However, it is best to contact your surgeon for post surgery issues and care since all doctors have slightly different instructions.

Answer: Pulling out grafts after two weeks By two weeks postop your grafts should be well healed in and nearly impossible to remove without making an incision of some sort. Most likely you're seeing scabs with hairs stuck to them.

Answer: Hair loss after hair transplant What you are seeing is the shed hair attached to the scab - not to worry. This is not a graft being pulled out 15 days from the procedure. Typically, the transplanted follicles are grafted to the surrounding tissue within 7 days. Once the hair is shed, the follicle with it's stem cells remains under the skin and will produce a hair later on. This type of shedding is normal, but unnerving. It will take 3 to 12 months to get final growth.

Answer: Grafts pulled out 15 days after a hair transplant grafts can not be pulled out 15 days after a hair transplant as the stem cells should be secure in the recipient area by then
