Thank you for your question and photos. You appear to be a candidate for rhinoplasty to create a more narrow nasal shape that complements the rest of your facial features. During this procedure, the nose can be narrowed with an alar base reduction or osteotomies, depending on your unique situation. Please keep in mind that rhinoplasty is one of the most complex of all plastic surgery procedures, requiring experience, skill, and even artistry to achieve an optimal outcome. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon, with expertise in rhinoplasty techniques. They will be able to discuss your concern and goals with you to help you decide on the best approach.
Hello! Thank you for your question.I have evaluated your case from the photos you provided. Overall it looks great but it seems a bit wide and big compared to your face. A smaller a thinner nose would really fit you. You have wide nostrils and bulbous tip, you may need rib cartilage reconstruction to reshape especially the tip and you may also need an alar base reduction. Best regards!
Thank you for your query. You have a nice nose especially in your profile. From the front view it is slightly more wide at the dorsum and the nostrils become a little wider when you smile. A closed rhinoplasty to narrow the dorsum with an in-fracturing and. a slight reduction of the nostrils will help you further improve the shape of your nose. Ultimately to have a rhinoplasty depends on your desires, it is not a “need”. Please find an experienced Board certified Plastic surgeon who can examine you and help you with all your concerns. All the best!
Based on these photos, you seem to have wide and not very well defind nose; part of that is your thick skin. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon, expert in rhinoplasty, would help you to understand options and make your decision. Good luck.
Most patients seeking rhinoplasty want a bump removed from the bridge. Your issue is that your nose is a little wide. That’s a situation less surgeons are used to dealing with. That combined with the fact that your nose isn’t bad at all has probably led to the conflicting opinions
Based on your photos, you appear to have thick nasal skin with an overprojected wide tip and thick nostrils. Depending on your examination, rhinoplasty surgery may be considered for achieving a narrower and less distracting nasal tip appearance. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph
You are a very pretty young lady, with a nice nose. Many girls would love t have such a cute nose. However, it is a bit wide, especially when you smile.Such cases are challenging, as the expected changes should be subtle. A good surgeon doing a conservative (limited) Rhinoplasty with lateral osteotomies and nostril narrowing can give you a nicer nose, and in experienced hands there is almost no risk or a disastrous result.I recommend that you seek a couple of opinions, and don't necessarily choose the surgeon with big sell.Dr Stephen Kleid - Melbourne, Australia
Thanks for your question. Pursuing rhinoplasty surgery is a very personal decision and ultimately lies with how concerned you are with the current aesthetic of your nose or whether you have functional issues with breathing as well. Looking at your photos, I believe your nose has a very feminine structure, but it really just depends on what kind of changes you’re interested in making. Make sure to do your research and review a lot of before and afters before making the decision and always go with a board certified surgeon. Rhinoplasty is worth paying a premium for if it’s the right surgeon for you.
Thank you for your question. You have a pretty face and an excellent nasal tip projection on your side you.Even if you do have rhinoplasty when you smile the muscles of your smile pull your nostrils and nasal tip wider and surgery cannot correct this.If you are happy with your nose when not smiling I would not have a rhinoplasty. If at rest you wish that your nose would be narrower than a cosmetic rhinoplasty can achieve this. But your nose fits your face and as I said the tip projection is excellent thus unless were very unhappy with your nose at rest I would not have a rhinoplasty.
