I have a straight nose from one side which I love and it looks so natural, however on the other side it looks upturned and it sticks out. It looks worse in the sunlight. Can any doctors confirm that this is cartilage?

From the photos you submitted, it looks like elevating the tip and probably bringing the tip back closer to your face would be the thing to do. The good news is that these changes are usually rather predictable to accomplish, even in a revision. But not very many plastic surgeons would be able...
First of all, I prefer close monitoring in such situations. Steroid injections can help reduce swelling and edema. Giving your nose time and even adjusting your diet can be beneficial for you.
Hello! Thank you for your question. After a rhinoplasty surgery it is possible that one of the nostrils (or both) collapse. This can appear 3 months post-op like 12 months post-op.
Don't worry it is possible to perform a revision rhinoplasty and use grafts to correct the collapsed nostril.
