Am I a good candidate for a mommy makeover? What is my ideal weight? (photos)

As long as your weight is stable then you would be a good candidate for a mommy makeover procedure. I would not want to operate while your weight is increasing or decreasing. Ideal candidates are women in good health, who have completed their families, are at least 6 months postpartum, and want to restore or improve their pre-pregnancy body shape. The stubborn fat seems to be located mainly in your midsection. Mommy makeovers improve the shape of your breasts, and most likely a tummy tuck with liposuction will improve your midsection. Keeping your body mass index around 30 would be good. Every surgeon has different cutoffs regaurding BMI. ESJ Aesthetics will accept anyone under a BMI of 34. Your breast are not visible, but with a large weight loss, you likely will require a implant combined with a breast lift. This can be done in conjunction with a tummy tuck. Good luck.

You are young and well on your way to your goal of 140-150, and that seems to be reasonable and achievable. At our office, we suggest scheduling your consultation when you are at or close to your goal weight and we chat with you ahead about what a good goal weight is. This is important for the surgeon to see exactly what you want to address and for the best outcome. An abdominoplasty might be a reasonable procedure to explore at that time. Based on your history with your maximum weight of 220 and your fittest at 140, I would suggest you should try to hit a target weight of 150 pounds. I believe that should be a realistic target or ideal weight. The best way to achieve this goal is with a ketogenic diet, minimal carbs, and eliminating sugar, alcohol, and sugary soft drinks. Your diet should be mostly protein and vegetables. You may also want to consider intermittent fasting. This should all be combined with cardio and strength training exercises. Cardio training should be done daily for 30 to 40 minutes and weightlifting three or more days a week. After you achieve the weight of approximately 150 lbs., I would say you would be a good candidate for a mommy makeover. The mommy makeover would include a tummy tuck with elimination of excess skin and fat of the abdomen, rectus abdominis muscle plication, and a pubic or mons lift. In addition, if you desire, breast surgery can be performed. A breast lift with or without augmentation is commonly performed during a mommy makeover. However, in your pictures, you included arms. Perhaps you are seeking arm liposuction, or an arm reduction during your mommy makeover? This can be added, but is not a common procedure during a mommy makeover. Therefore, in conclusion, I would suggest a target weight of 150 lbs.
