Good candidate for CoolSculpting? Or other alternatives?

I'm not sure if working out will help me burn all the fat in this area. I had read about cool sculpting and wanted to know if it may seem as though I'd make a good candidate. Additionally, I'm not open to traditional lipo. I look forward to feedback.

CoolSculpting is a treatment designed for patients that are at their ideal weight already, and are just suffering from stubborn pockets of fat that will not go away with traditional diet and exercise. CoolSculpting freezes and kills the fat in this area. Afterwards the dead fat cells gradually leave your body. Based on your photos I would say that you could be a good candidate for CoolSculpting. You may need several treatments before you reach your desired results. I recommend you schedule an in person consultation with a CoolSculpting provider who can assess you in person and give you feedback on whether you are a good candidate as predicted or when you can commence your sessions. Coolsculpting is best when performed on an area that has an excess number of fat cells.  For example, women say, "When I gain weight, it goes straight to my belly."  That means that you were born with more fat cells in your abdominal area.  It would be great to perform coolsculpting in that area to reduce the number of fat cells there and make that are more proportional with the rest of your body.  Then, if you gain weight, it will be more evenly distributed over your body.  It won't just "go straight" to one area.  
  
The fat loss is permanent after Coolsculpting.  You typically lose 20-25% of the fat in the area treated, each time you treat it.  I have done it to myself and my staff.  It is truly effective and has no down time.

Based on your photos, I believe you are a good candidate for CoolSculpting. I highly recommend you make sure your CoolSculpting provider has the upgraded hand pieces. This is not only to save you time but the newer hand pieces have shown to provide a more comfortable treatment. Also, I would set the expectation that you may need more than one treatment in both the abdominal and flanks region. Best of luck!

Thank you for your questionCoolSculpting is a great, FDA-approved treatment for fat reduction of the abdomen. Coolsculpting relies on Cryolipolysis due to the fact that fat cells are more sensitive to cold than are other tissues. We utilize the new Cool Advantage applicators which are much more comfortable and reduce treatment time to 35 minutes. The advance cooling technology selectively targets and eliminates fat cells gently and gradually without affecting the surrounding tissue. Patients in our office have seen an average fat reduction of 20-25% with each treatment. Depending on the patient's body composition and outcome goals, it generally takes more than one treatment to achieve optimal results. A second treatment is general scheduled 30 to 45 days after the initial treatment. It takes about 2-3 months to get a general idea of the final results. The results are long-lasting as long as you maintain a stable healthy lifestyle.  I recommend scheduling a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon well versed in all aspects of body contouring to determine if your an ideal candidate for CoolSculpting.Best of Luck ,Andrew T. Hi.  Your pics suggest that you would be a good candidate.  During your consultation, your plastic surgeon will screen for a medical history that might lead to the contrary, and of course, your examination will include placing applicator templates to verify your candidacy.  Signs of an experienced, busy coolsculpting plastic surgeon's office are advanced certification (Coolsculpting University), multiple machines (cuts down on treatment times), and Advantage applicators (treats in less time than the classic applicators).  Best wishes!

Try to lose as much weight as you can through a healthy and sustainable diet and exercise regimen. If you still have abdominal fat that won’t budge, then CoolSculpting could be a great solution for you. It removes up to 35% of fat at a time, in the right hands, when followed by a Zimmer Z-Wave radial massage. Other minimally or noninvasive techniques to remove fat include Vanquish and ThermiTight. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who can offer you a number of different options.

I appreciate your question. Coolscultping as a non-invasive procedure gives you 2-25% reduction in 3 months. This is permanent. It may require an area to have more than 1 treatment, but this is all done while watching tv or working from your computer in our office. PAH is very rare, less than 1%. There aren't any risk factors to look for, but is simply treated with liposuction. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Hi, thanks for the question.  Your pictures are not the best, but from what I see you would be a candidate for CoolSculpting.  Keep in mind that you will need to treat the same area more than one time to get adequate results.  You may also benefit from SmartLipo or a tummy tuck - it's hard to tell based on your pictures.  
I recommend an evaluation with a surgeon who offers each of these treatments to get the best opinion.
