Question

My toddler accidentally fell on my left breast. I just had a lollypop lift with a fat transfer 6 weeks ago. She squished my left breast will this damage the fat transferred?

Hi, thank you for your question.  Toddlers have an uncanny habit of doing unexpected and inconvenient things.  Your breast should be fine as long as there is no sudden bruising or swelling.  Sustained pressure to the breast would be more likely to injure the grafted fat.  I would call your surgeon's office just to be safe so that you can be evaluated.Best wishes,Dr. Naidu

Thanks for the great question. As long as your incisions look ok and you don't have any swelling and/or bruising, the fat which was transferred should be totally fine. At this point in time the fat that is going to survive should be well situated in the breast. If you have any concerns, I would make an appointment to follow up with your surgeon.
