Hi, I am wondering about liposuction of my stomach fat to my breasts. Since the liposuction will remove fat cells from my stomach, will I ever be able to gain weight in my stomach again? Will I just gain it in other places? Thanks!
Answer: Fat Transfer to the Breast Fat transfer involves liposuction of a particular area (i.e. abdomen) and then the fat is treated and then transferred in small droplets to the breast. The liposuction aspect is not much different other than using less power on the suction device to not damage the fat cells. Once liposuction is performed to a particular area, that area is not resistant to growing again in the future if the patients weight fluctuates. There will still be some fat cells that will grow larger. One thing to consider with fat transfer to the breast is that it is a good procedure, but not a great procedure. In small amounts it works, but in larger amounts it is not as efficient and can be somewhat disappointing. Realistic expectations are important in any cosmetic procedure, but more so with this procedure.Hope that helps.

Answer: When liposuction is done and one gains weight after the excess calories will be deposited in other areas first and when maxed out, the fat cells left in your tummy will eventually gain size. And the fat from you tummy, if grafted elsewhere, will act like tummy fat still and increase in volume as you gain weight so your breasts will also increase in size.

Answer: Weight gain after liposuction and fat grafting Gaining weight causes the fat cells to increase in size. The fat cells that you have removed from your abdomen and then moved to the breast do not "know" they are in a new location. If you gain weight, your breasts will increase in size. Although you will have fewer fat cells in your abdomen after liposuction in that area, there are still many remaining. Therefore, if you gain a significant amount of weight, you will notice the area of suction will start to enlarge as those cells get bigger. In general, it takes a significant weight gain (>15lbs) to see enlargement in an area that has undergone liposuction.

Answer: Fat Transfer to Breasts Thank you for the question. Fat can certainly return to an area over time if you gain a considerable amount of weight. The key is to maintain a healthy lifestyle and keep your weight fairly stable. Enjoy your new breasts!

Answer: Fat transfer from stomach to breasts You can transfer fat from the abdominal area to the breasts, but this will not prevent fat from returning to the abdominal area if a significant amount of weight is gained. The goal is to try to maintain a stable weight that is good for your body type. Best of luck in your search.
