There is no best or correct age for when an individual should have Fraxel Laser treatments as it all depends on the patient. However, typically patients range from their twenties to their sixties. It is much rarer to treat patients any younger than this.
You must be over 18 to have Fraxel without your parents’ permission. Teenagers can benefit from its ability to resurface and renew scarred skin — particularly acne scars. Young children’s scars can also be improved. As for its utility as an anti-aging treatment, I wouldn’t recommend it until you see the first signs of aging, such as a little discoloration or loss of elasticity. A great time to start is usually in your 30s or 40s. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who’s an expert in using Fraxel to treat scars, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, or slight sagging.

Fraxel Re:Store stimulates new collagen and elastin so it will tighten and rejuvenate your skin while also removing fine lines and smoothing out your tone. Whether that’s the ideal treatment for you can only be determined in person. Ultherapy and Thermi are great skin tighteners, too. Your m...
Hi DA. Although tempting to believe, the dynamic (seen when smiling) wrinkles will not go away with laser resurfacing. These lines may see very minor improvement with laser resurfacing (and Retin A for that matter), but significant improvement will only be seen with Botox,...
I treat this with needle removal but you can do clear + brilliant or fraxel laser with microneedling/prp and get improvement with milia. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer.
