Fraxel Re:Store stimulates new collagen and elastin so it will tighten and rejuvenate your skin while also removing fine lines and smoothing out your tone. Whether that’s the ideal treatment for you can only be determined in person. Ultherapy and Thermi are great skin tighteners, too. Your marionette lines might respond to co-treatment with a hyaluronic acid dermal filler, such as Restylane Refyne or Defyne, which are flexible and natural looking. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who can evaluate your skin and help you pick the best solutions.
I suggest you see an expert lasers dont tighten skin or improve deep lines from laxity. this needs fillers, lifting, threads, thermage/ultherapy etc. best, Dr. Emer.
Thanks for your question. Usually laser is used for surface blemishes and minor skin wrinkle/texture changes. It cannot remove lax skin, but can make your skin more vibrant and even. Marionette lines etc can be treated in other ways such as filler. An in person consult is a great way to customize a reasonable and successful treatment plan unique to you. Warm regards.
Fraxel restore is a great laser for many things, but it will not give you the tightening you seem to be thinking of. It is hard to give you a recommendation without a photo, so I would recommend a consultation with an experienced physician to discuss your goals and your options.
Fraxel laser can improve surface texture and sun damage but will not give volume to marionette lines. A combination of Thermage radio frequency to tighten the skin and fillers to restore volume will help.
Fraxel restore is quite an intense procedure that can help with wrinkles and laxity but mostly remove signs of photoaging/scars. I would advise Ultherapy for fine lines, the downtime is alot less than Fraxel restore as well.
No, much better lasers that do not pulse stack, and do not have a consumable. Is this laser better than nothing? Yes, however my Fraxel ReStore is outdated, as there are many better lasers that can be adjusted, with the bonus of a non consumable tip. The tip adds to the treatment, and CO2 laser do not require a consumable. Fraxel makes great lasers like the 1927, but they also manufacture sub standard lasers like the ReStore. In addition I agree with my colleagues, other METHOD are required to address your concerns, not just laser. Dr Davin Lim. Fraxel advisory board specialist - without conflict of interest.
