Not necessary. You should ask your physician to explain why your LH and FSH levels are high. Also check your TSH level.

There are quite a few causes of elevated LH and FSH. Some are related to hair loss and some are not. See your gynecologist or endocrinologist to understand your specific cause of LH and FSH elevation. Levels of these hormones do change greatly with the menstrual cycle. However, persistently elevated LH and FSH could indicate an ovarian stimulation issue including menopause, premature ovarian failure, and other hormonal issues (PCOS).
