Is it normal for my breasts to swell while sleeping? I'm 24 days post op.

People sometimes have swollen eyes after sleeping because we are supine. This is normal. Leave your implants and breasts alone, they will soften without your massage.  In fact I have seen massage damage incisions, change pockets, and it has never done anything for contracture.

Thanks so much for your question.  The short answer to your question is yes.  When you're up and moving around gravity is helping to reduce swelling during the day. While you're sleeping in a recumbent position, swelling can return because gravity isn't helping to remove the swelling. One thing you may want to try is sleeping elevated with an extra pillow. This may help in the short-term. It's shouldn't be a significant problem moving forward and things will soon normalize.  I hope this helps.
