How can I remove a scar from liquid nitrogen burn on mons pubis using a cream?

Hello, I have a scar from liquid nitrogen used by a nurse to freeze possible molluscum contagiosum since October 2019. I’m so conscious about it as it’s on my mons pubis. Please help me by advising what treatment, using cream only, should remove it. I saw the last answers advising laser treatment but it is too expensive for me. The scar is small but it is still really annoying me. Thanks!

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started.

Liquid nitrogen treatment can cause scarring. A silicon based scar gel, such as Strataderm, is a good option for treating scars, though I would recommend seeing a dermatologist for evaluation and treatment. Depending on the type of scar you have, injections and/or laser treatment may help reduce the appearance of the scar. Good luck!
