Are these perioral mounds? How do I get rid of them? (photo)

Those are not true perioral mounds by their anatomic location, those might be better called lip mounds. I have do microliposuction on this lateral lip areas with some modest improvement in them. 

 That is interesting, I have never heard that called a perioral mound . It is really due to volume loss around that area of muscles in your upper lip. I would suggest seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area who can explain to you the muscles of the face and where atrophy occurs. Those surrounding areas can be filled to remove the appearance of the mound. Best of luck! Dr. Boschert
