My adontia was corrected as a teen by an ortho who left the baby tooth on the left and placed an implant after treatment. On the right he moved the teeth over after pulling the baby teeth. Now I live in Germany, I went to an ortho but said that he would not do treatment bc it could cause serious problems with my jaw, like TMJ and root misplacement. But 2 orthos in the US recommend diff. treatments. Is it be safe to widen the arch of an adult? I cried for the rest of the day bc he could not help.
