I have a 6 months old rolling scar on my cheek which is still very red. Yesterday I had an appointment with a dermatologist and he told my that he wants to treat me with a CO2 Laser but I will need some Radiofrequency microneedling sessions first, because the scar is still red. Why can't I have CO2 Laser on red scars? I thought it would be even better to treat them early with laser? Can CO2 really worsen the PIE? (except for the natural redness after the treatment)
