You are too early after surgery to reliably evaluate result; it takes at least 6 months for swelling to go away entirely to be able to evaluate asymmetries, dents, lines, etc.. If there will be such a dent like you are showing now, correction with fat grafting or filler may be all you will need. Be patient, stay in contact and have trust in your surgeon. Good luck.

It is very early in the healing phase and these things are very common. Be patient and give it time. These things almost always get better.

It can take 6 months for final results after your facelift. However, I recommend following up with your Doctor about your concerns and after care recommendations. To improve final results, we will often do a ultherapy about 4-6 weeks after neck lift to get more of an outcome. See an expert. You will need to give this more time.  It is still fairly early in your post op course to be concerned.  Be sure to follow with your surgeon.

At 3 weeks, it is still too early to be concerned about contour irregularities.  Lumps, bumps, and minor indentations can take weeks to months to resolve completely.   Warm compresses and massage or lymphatic drainage can help but I would seek the advice of your surgeon to see what he recommends.   

Thank you for your question and pictures.  It is still very early days, if you had a traditional facelift involving drains and bandages, then the downtime and recovery time is typically 6-8 weeks.  Following your surgeons protocol and be patient.  This will be residual swelling which should settle.  All The Best 

Hello, sorry for your worry.  It is very common to see these types of irregularities so soon after a facelift.  Give it some time, and try to be patient.  Keep in good communication with your plastic surgeon and I am sure you will do great.
