I would like to know what the doctors of RealSelf feel about Aspen Ultrasound Treatment , to treat a capsule contracture?

I have had a reaccurring capsule contracture on the same breast. I have also changed my in implants within 2 yrs of having them. The CC came back again. Started with saline , now I have silicone.

It's very unlikely to have significant capsular contracture before six months. Once established there's no particular window of opportunity so treatment can be started pretty much any time.

Capsular contractures almost always painless. If you are having discomfort it is unlikely that cold or heat treatment would penetrate enough to make a difference. Anti-inflammatories probably will help until the problem has been surgically treated.

There is always a chance for capsular contracture reoccurrence. This happens for many reasons and is not necessarily related to breastfeeding and lactation There is a risk even in those patients who have been treated properly for this.
