Since developing capsular contracture 4 weeks ago I have stopped doing my usual running and weight lifting just in case it made it worse. I'm not able to have revision surgery til August. I miss my running and exercise classes, am I ok to do my high impact exercise until i have surgery? Or do I need to do low impact for the next couple months?

The only real reliable solution to capsular contracture is surgical removal of the capsule. There are a few other nonsurgical techniques (medication and ultrasound) that can help in some cases. In the short term, you may consider tylenol or motrin or hot/cold compresses. If any of these work...
The risk is going to be present regardless of how long you have waited. However, if the procedure is perfromed well and the implants are replaced the risk will be close to the risk a first time patient has. However, their are many variables that can affect the risk of capsular contracture....
