I have been in contact with a reconstructive surgery location and have e-mailed them pictures of my lip, but I won't be told if it is salvageable until tomorrow or maybe the next day. I was told by the woman on the phone who set up appointments that it may not be fixable because the slice goes through the bottom lining of my lip. My anxiety is killing me so I thought I'd ask here, as well as to see if I should see someone else if I'm told this is fixable here versus being told no by the place.
