I had an infection after genioplasty. Is fully recovery possible?

I had genioplasty 7 months ago for sleep apnea. Two screws were used, but I developed an infection that antibiotics couldn’t clear. Four weeks later, I had a second surgery to remove the infection, replace the screws, and disinfect the area. Despite severe nerve pain after the procedure, the pain stopped after four weeks of gabapentin and painkillers. While my lower lip has improved, my chin remains mostly numb, with occasional tingling. Will it recover completely? And when?
