Hello, I am 54. I want to make the best choice between ultra sound therapy and injectable fillers. Could I use a combination of the both techniques to achieve the best result? Or are there heightened risk of damage to my skin if I use both techniques? Secondly, which technique gives a subtler appearance of enhancement? What I mean is, after the procedure I do not want a stiff, expresionless face. Thanks for your advice.

Answer: Combination Treatments Hello,Thank you for your question. Ulthera can be combined with fillers but the fillers need to be done after the Ulthera or in an area where you won't treat with Ulthera. Otherwise it can decrease the life of the filler. Both can be subtle when done correctly. Ulthera will be a bit more subtle than fillers as it lift and tightens over the course of several months. Most fillers provide immediate gratification and add fullness. Please consult with a local experienced physician in person to determine the best course of action. Good luck!

Answer: Skin Tightening & Rejuvenation-- lasers, microneedling/prp, skin care, peels, Cosmelan, salt facial. ultherapy, ThermiRF Yes, I recommend a combination approach to get the most improvement. I recommend a combination of Cosmelan, peels, salt facials, lasers or RF, sculptra for collagen building, fillers, microneedling/prp and skin care to help with skin rejuvenation and prevent aging. Ultherapy and/or ThermiRF treatments (Venus Legacy) are non-invasive options that do well in combination for skin tightening. Please see a cosmetic dermatologist for a long term treatment plan. Best, Dr. Emer.
