I am curious as the "LDI" treatment that is advertised for sagging skin vs. a face lift or a "lifestyle lift".

At this time, there is no nonsurgical treatment which provides the benefit and results given by a well performed facelift.  Minimally invasive treatment tend to be goal specific, more temporary, and with less downtime than surgical procedures.  At the same time, the end point or result is much more limited without surgery. In 17 years of practice, I have seen many attempts at marketing which give the prospective patient the idea that there is an equivalence.  There is not.  Lifestyle lift was a surgical procedure and is no longer functioning as a business. 

Thank you for your question.  LDI is a laser non-surgical facelift, it is not the former Lifestyle Lift which was an actual surgical procedure.  LDI is designed to stimulate collagen and give the skin a more vibrant look; however, the new Profound RF technology is what I use in my practice.  This system is more aggressive than a laser because it penetrates the skin with small needles and RF sustained heat. Further the Profound RF is designed to increase collagen, hyaluronic acid  and elastin tissue in one single treatment.  After using several lasers, I have found this to be the most advanced technology to provide a non-surgical face lift.

A combination approach is needed to get the most improvement with skin tightening for the face. I recommend J Plasma, lasers (Fraxel, Clear + Brilliant, Co2), microneedling/prp, ultherapy and rf treatments to get the best outcomes. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist.
