Are my uneven Lipo results normal? (Photos)

Question

I had lipo of the abdomen, flanks & back exactly 4 weeks ago. I was told not to massage it myself but just go for my weekly lymph drainage massage for 4 weeks. But I am still bumpy & uneven. I wear my bodysuit daily still and only take it off for showering. I am going to continue my weekly massages but will this go away? Is there anything else I can do? My doctor said just to to more massages but I am worried and want to be sure.

Best to continue wearing the compression garment and continue with additional lymphatic Massage/Venus Legacy RF treatments. All of these additional treatments (including the compression garment) help you get the best possible results, which may not be apparent in their final form for a good year post op. Remember that some degree of waviness/bumpiness may still remain due to the nature of the surgery.

It is too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Thanks for the question and provided information as well. 
You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to 6 months to see your final results. At the stage you are in, swelling is normal, so i recommend to be patient. Also, you can continue with the lymphatic massages for two more weeks.
And remember that it is recommended to use the compression garment 24/7 for the first 3 months, and after that, for 12 hours a day for 3 more months, to avoid that type of swelling and to get the best results.
If you have any concerns, i suggest you to follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

It is really too early for you to see your final results. You surely still have swelling and need to wait 6-8 weeks to see more of an improvement and 6 months or more for final results. Thank you for your question!
